Launched in 2000 by Kim Haverblad, the site has undergone some dramatic changes over the years. The original site was launched as SingleMaltGuide.com and later during 2001 changed to WhiskyForum.com due to request from our visitors so that we included American, Canadian and other international malt whiskies as well.

As an international collaborative community the site also gives the whisky enthusiasts a common platform to interact with each other and by this build by and for true whisky enthusiasts.

Having grown from humble origins into a powerful resource for whisky, it is now one of the major whisky sites available.
