Heaven Hill Distilleries Acquires Mohawk distilled products SPIRITS Portfolio |

Heaven Hill Distilleries, Inc. has acquired the Mohawk domestic distilled spirits portfolio from Boisset America. The agreement adds several important brands to Heaven Hill’s portfolio.
“The Mohawk domestic spirits business strengthens Heaven Hill’s
position in several key markets with added scale and value,” said Max
L. Shapira, president, Heaven Hill Distilleries, Inc. “In addition to
the organic development of products, acquisitions such as this one have
been a core strategy for growth within our company for many years.”
The addition will strengthen Heaven Hill relationships in Michigan,
Texas, Louisiana, Wisconsin and New York with the addition of the
Mohawk and Newport franchises, Basilica Imported Liqueur line and
Rosita Tequila. Boisset America will retain agency agreements for
their imported spirits business.
