Former distillery in Annan could soon be producing whisky again after being bought by a businessman and his wife.
Prof David Thomson and Teresa Church plan to start producing a lowland malt in the distillery buildings at Northfield.
The couple hope to produce commercial quantities of Annandale Malt Whisky, a brand originally produced on the site.
